The service life of a vehicle usually depends on its key component - the engine. During the operation of a diesel engine, impurities deposited in the fuel system and dust suspended in the air will contaminate the diesel and affect its own quality. Therefore, the fuel filter in a car is indispensable. Most diesel engines use high-pressure common rail fuel systems. To ensure high-pressure injection, the system needs to precisely control the injection pressure, injection flow rate and injection time. Its accessories are exquisitely crafted, so it has higher requirements for the quality of diesel, especially for the control of diesel cleanliness, which is quite strict. If there is unfiltered water or impurities in the diesel, long-term use will cause damage to the high-pressure pump of the fuel injector. Unfiltered impurities will directly cause wear and tear on the parts inside the fuel injector. Damage to the fuel injector can lead to unstable engine operation, reduced power, increased fuel consumption and other problems, affecting the normal operation of the fuel injector. In addition, when fuel with excessive water content enters the engine, it will reduce its combustion efficiency and cause the engine to accelerate poorly. However, if inferior diesel is added, it has a high sulfur content and is prone to react with water during combustion to form sulfuric acid, gradually corroding engine components and reducing the service life of the truck. Meanwhile, the components of the high-pressure common rail system are very expensive. If the electronically controlled fuel injector is damaged, the repair cost is quite high. In contrast, the price of the filter is much more moderate, followed by a lower price. This is mainly to ensure the good performance of the truck, extend the vehicle's service life, reduce maintenance costs, and save time and effort.
